NFL Game Analysis for Graduating from Just “Yes!”, “Awesome!”, and “Insane!”

From over a hundred formations come thousands of play calls.

Although often misunderstood as a violent sport and frequently lumped together with martial arts or rugby, American football is in fact the ultimate battle of intellect. I believe it deserves to be regarded alongside games of strategy such as Go, Shogi, and Chess.

While most fans are simply shouting “Yes!”, “Awesome!”, or “Insane!” as they enjoy the plays, this blog digs deeper into the hidden layers of strategy—meticulous, far-sighted tactics—explaining them with numerous diagrams and detailed analysis.

The logo design of this blog is borrowed from Tsume-Shogi (checkmate problems in Shogi), and I invite you to notice how the characters for “King” (王) and “Jewel” (玉) are subtly hidden within it.
